The Luzerne County Library System (LCLS) was founded in 1984; bringing together
the resources of ten libraries and six additional branches in cooperation to
serve the residents of Luzerne County, PA.

Our goal is to make educational and informational services available to the residents
of Luzerne County; to provide the adults and children of Luzerne County with
the information and resources that support lifelong learning and lifelong enjoyment.
