Attention Luzerne County Residents

Thanks to the support of our county government, anyone who resides in Luzerne County has access to a public library! Recent misleading information has given some residents at the western portion of the county the impression that they’re going to lose library services. Nothing could be further from the truth. If you live in Luzerne County, you are entitled to a library card. You can get your card at any location of the Luzerne County Library System or we can mail one to you if you fill out an online card application here. Not only will you have access to all the libraries in Luzerne County, you’ll also have access to the more than 500 state-aided libraries in Pennsylvania! With the Access PA program, you can register for a library card in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Scranton, and in every corner of the state!
